Karin Orsel appointed to succeed Harm Post as Norwegian Honorary Consul
MF Shipping Group is proud to announce that Ms Karin Orsel has been appointed Norwegian Honorary Consul, succeeding Mr Harm Post. The official handover of the consulship took place on 13 February 2025 at the Feithhuis in Groningen. With the approval of the Dutch government, the consulate will be located at the MF Shipping Group office in Delfzijl.

As Honorary Consul, Karin will work to promote economic, cultural and diplomatic relations between Norway and the Netherlands. She will also provide assistance to Norwegian citizens and act as a liaison for Norwegian and Dutch companies. Her appointment is in recognition of her long-standing commitment to international cooperation. The new role fits seamlessly with her extensive experience and network in the maritime sector, where she continues to build bridges between different countries and cultures.
